Deepak V. Chavda, M.D., FAAOS,DABOS Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon (1998-2008, Pending Recertification in 2009)
Dr. Chavda began his medical
career in the U.S. as a post-doctoral fellow in Internal Medicine at
the M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas in 1983. He was also
a pathology resident at St. Louis Medical Center, and a resident in
Internal Medicine at Duke University/VA Medical Center in North
Carolina. He completed his Orthopedic Residency at the University of
Nebraska/Creighton University in 1995, and he became a board certified
Orthopedic Surgeon in 1998 (1998-2008, Pending Recertification in 2009). Dr. Chavda founded Texas Bone & Joint
Center in 1999.
Throughout his career Dr.
Chavda has published numerous articles for journals, three chapters for
books, and is a reviewer for the 'Orthopedic and Sports' section of a
few major medical journals. He is a fellow member of the American
Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, and a Diplomat of the American Board of
Orthopedic Surgery. He is also a member of many medical professional
organizations including the Texas Orthopedic Association, and the
Tarrant County Medical Society.
Dr. Chavda is interested in general orthopedics including trauma, hand injuries, sports injuries, knee injuries, shoulder injuries, joint replacement, cervical spine injuries and lubar spine injuries. Dr. Chavda also excels in managing effectivly any work related or occupational injuries. |
